Birmingham's 5 Focuses South mass shooting: 4 dead, 18 harmed; enormous manhunt in progress
An enormous manhunt was in progress Sunday morning after a mass shooting late Saturday night in Birmingham's clamoring Five Focuses South diversion region left four dead and something like 18 others harmed.
Specialists said they don't really accept that the shooting was irregular, yet originated from a segregated episode where numerous blameless observers were trapped in the crossfire.
"We have contacted our accomplices with ATF, the FBI, you'll have a plenty of policing helping the Birmingham Police Department‚'' Official Truman Fitzgerald said.
"Have confidence, we will do all that we can to uncover, distinguish and chase down whoever was answerable for going after our kin," he said.
Fitzgerald said the shooting happened soon after 11 p.m. in the 2000 block of Magnolia Road South. Police are supposed to give a report on the examination earlier today.
